Sprouts takes the tedium and frustration out of creating new programming projects by automatically copying easily-modified project templates, then installing and configuring all external tools, libraries and build tasks.

While sprouts can support any language or environment, the initial release is designed to support ActionScript 2, ActionScript 3, and MXML using Windows XP, Windows Vista, Cygwin, OS X, and Linux.
